Bainbridge To Host Groundbreaking on Bainbridge Federal Hill Near Baltimore’s CBD

The developer to celebrate its first community in the city on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 10:30 a.m.

BALTIMORE – Jan. 30, 2018 – The Bainbridge Companies, a leading owner, developer and manager of luxury multifamily communities in the eastern U.S., and its partner Willton Investment Group, will celebrate the groundbreaking tomorrow on Bainbridge Federal Hill, a 224-apartment community at 1100 Key Highway. The groundbreaking ceremony will kick-off at 10:30 a.m. EST.

Construction is slated for completion by mid-2019. The community, which is designed to achieve a LEED Silver Certification from the United States Green Building Council, will be Bainbridge’s first in Baltimore.

With in-demand amenities and high-end finishes with its location in a charming historical area, Bainbridge Federal Hill will answer that call and then some. The community will be a short walk from the Federal Hill Historic District, which features a wide array of restaurants, museums and nightlife. Other nearby attractions include Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles baseball team; the National Aquarium; the Maryland Science Center; Federal Hill Park; Riverside Park; the American Visionary Art Museum; and the Cross Street Market. Bainbridge Federal Hill will also offer convenient access to Interstates 95 and 395.

Bainbridge Federal Hill will also feature more than 12,000 square feet of common-area amenity space spread out over three floors. At the heart of the amenities is a stunning two-story, glass-surround, 24-hour fitness center with a cardio mezzanine level, weight room and Fitness On Demand classes. The fitness center further includes outdoor fitness areas, locker rooms and a mixed-use fitness room. The property also will include a pool and elevated pool deck overlooking the Inner Harbor; a designated Uber/Lyft entrance; a cyber café; a rooftop outdoor lounge with gorgeous views of the Inner Harbor; storage for more than 50 bikes and a bicycle repair station; a pet spa with pet washing stations; and a package locker system with 24-hour access.

A game room; a double-sided, indoor-outdoor fireplace on the eighth floor; and a conference room with a catering kitchen are among the community’s other amenities. The property also will feature a secure 228-vehicle parking garage with electric car charging stations. Hord Coplan Macht is the architect of the community.
